Fourteen years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake.
I will never forget the situation at that time, when I had lost everything and was at a loss.
In that time of confusion and despair, I received help and warm words from them... My gratitude at that time will never fade and remains deep in my heart.
I want to convey the gratitude I wasn't able to convey then.
We asked residents to share the things they wanted to say "thank you" to, and received a large number of messages.
"Thank you" to people far away, neighbors and local people, and family.
It has been a long time, but now, from the people of Minamisanriku, we send you a heartfelt "thank you."
