Minamisanriku 311 Memorial will be hosting a special exhibition titled “Thank You, from the Heart.”
Fifteen years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake.
We can never forget that day, when we lost so much and were left feeling helpless, unsure of what to do.
In the midst of confusion and despair, there were people who came to our aid.
There were warm words spoken to us.
Each and every one of these moments remains deeply in our hearts to this day.
“Thank You, from the Heart”
We want to express the gratitude that we could not put into words at the time of the disaster.
This exhibition features many messages of gratitude shared by residents of Minamisanriku.
To those who supported us from afar.
To the people in our community who stood by our side.
And to our families.
We invite you to visit the exhibition and discover these heartfelt messages of gratitude, sent from the people of Minamisanriku to everyone across Japan, reaching beyond the passage of time.
