1. Let's read together! "Tsunami Picture Book" A picture book by Mayumi Kudo of Kaminoyama Hachimangu Shrine in the Shizugawa area, about the tsunami that the children saw during the disaster, their hometowns that have changed, and the disaster as felt by children, will be on special display during the period. Please pick up a copy and take a look with your family.
②Let's think about it! "What we want to say as children back then" We will be exhibiting a manga about the disaster experience, "What we want to say from those of us who were children at that time," produced by the Ishinomaki City Earthquake Memorial Facility MEET Kadowaki. Read the stories of people who were elementary school students to university students at the time of the earthquake and think about how you would act if you were in that situation!
3. May 5th, Children's Day only! Free admission for elementary and junior high school students! Only on Children's Day, admission fees and learning program experience fees for elementary and junior high school students will be free. Please bring your family and use this as an opportunity to think about disaster prevention and life.
