1. Let's read together! "Tsunami Picture Book" – about the tsunami seen during the disaster, about the hometown that has changed, and about the disaster as felt by children. A picture book illustrated by Mayumi Kudo of Kaminoyama Hachimangu Shrine in the Shizugawa area will be on special display during the period. Please pick up a copy and take a look with your family.
②Let's think about it! "What we want to tell you as children at that time" We will exhibit the disaster experience manga "What we want to tell you as children at that time" produced by MEET Kadowaki, Ishinomaki City Earthquake Memorial Facility. Read the experiences of people who were elementary school students to university students at the time of the earthquake and think about how you would act if you were in that situation!
③Only on Children's Day, May 5th! Free admission for elementary and junior high school students! Only on Children's Day, admission and learning program experience fees will be free for elementary and junior high school students. Please bring your family and use this as an opportunity to think about disaster prevention and life.
