We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the more than 160,000 people who have visited the museum since its opening on October 1, 2022.
More than 12 years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake.
At our museum, we will continue to provide opportunities for people to think about how they would make decisions and act if they were faced with a natural disaster, while continuing to convey the facts, experiences, and lessons learned from Minamisanriku Town, which experienced an earthquake and tsunami.
