A letter of appreciation was presented by the Minister for Reconstruction to the storytellers of Minamisanriku Town

The other day, the Minister for Reconstruction presented a letter of appreciation to everyone who is active as a storyteller in Minamisanriku-cho and other disaster-stricken areas of the Tohoku region.

A total of 67 people who were recommended by traditional organizations and local governments in the three affected prefectures were presented with letters of appreciation for their contribution to raising awareness of disaster prevention and mitigation both inside and outside the disaster areas.

In Minamisanriku-cho, these eight people received a letter of appreciation. (Honorifics omitted, in no particular order)
