[Minamisanriku 311 Memorial x Minamisanriku Hotel Kanyo Collaboration Project] Notice of start of short trip for hotel guests to think about disaster prevention and life

Starting March 1st, Minami Sanriku Hotel Kanyo will be offering a new service for guests staying at the hotel: a short trip for guests to think about disaster prevention and life.

Every year many visitors come to Minamisanriku Town in March, the month when the Great East Japan Earthquake occurred.

Even now, more than 13 years after the disaster, many people are still interested in the town, saying things like, "I visit every year, so I want to see the town change little by little," "My children are now old enough to understand, so I want to take them around the disaster area," and "I want to know what has happened to the area I was involved in as a volunteer back then."

As we approach the 14th anniversary of 3.11, many customers visit with the aim of learning about disaster prevention, natural disasters, and protecting lives, so we are holding this event to provide an opportunity to think about disaster prevention, the importance of life, and coexistence with nature.
