The Minamisanriku 311 Memorial will be holding a reading performance titled "Before That Day, and After" on Wednesday, March 12th.
The performers this time will be "Gokigen Ikka", a group that holds a reading theatre performance in Minamisanriku Town every year.

This project involves interviewing residents of Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture, of various ages and genders, about their experiences of the earthquake and the progress of recovery, and expressing this information in the form of a dramatic reading.
Over the course of two years since the project began in 2020, we listened directly to stories from around 30 people and wove the script together using only their spoken words, without adding any new text.
As a safe and secure opportunity to simply remember that day. As an opportunity to learn about what happened in "Japan" where we live.
We are passing this on together with the feelings of the people of Minami Sanriku.
