[Request for cooperation] September 1st (Sunday) Notice of prohibition of entry to Earthquake Disaster Reconstruction Memorial Park and passage through Nakabashi Bridge

The Miyagi Prefecture 9.1 Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Drill and Minamisanriku Town Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Drill will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 1st, 2024.

As part of this training, a helicopter rescue drill will be conducted in the Earthquake Disaster Reconstruction Memorial Park and a helicopter will pass over Nakabashi Bridge. Therefore, entry to the Earthquake Disaster Reconstruction Memorial Park and crossing over Nakabashi Bridge will be prohibited during the following times.

1. Entry to the Earthquake Disaster Reconstruction Memorial Park is prohibited.

Date and time: Sunday, September 1, 2024, 10:00-10:40 am

②No entry to Nakabashi Bridge

Date and time: Sunday, September 1, 2024, 11:15-11:30 a.m.

Due to these restrictions, we ask for your understanding that the morning "Town Walk Storytelling" event will also be cancelled.

In addition, in conjunction with the drill, training broadcasts will be made via the disaster prevention administrative radio and emergency alert emails will be sent out. On the day of the drill, these messages may be received simultaneously by mobile phones and smartphones of everyone in the town.

This broadcast is for the purpose of disaster prevention training, so please act calmly on the day.
