This special place serves as a place to pass on the memories and lessons of the earthquake disaster to future generations, and continues to convey the importance of protecting life through people's voices and records.

The event will feature a public recording of the radio program "Sunday Morning Wave," featuring a cross-talk between a wide range of guests. Professor Fumihiko Imamura of the International Research Institute of Disaster Science at Tohoku University, FM Sendai Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Producer Keiko Itabashi, as well as Minamisanriku 3/11 Memorial Special Advisor Jin Sato, 3/11 Memorial Chief Wataru Uchiki, storyteller Koto Hatakeyama, and former disaster volunteer and community activist Reia Oba will all take to the stage to talk about the disaster, the facility, and the future of Minamisanriku Town from their respective perspectives.
