The Minamisanriku 311 Memorial, which opened in October last year in Minamisanriku Town, which was severely damaged in the Great East Japan Earthquake, offers learning programs based on footage of the damage at the time and interviews with the townspeople who were affected, and also displays footage of the interior of the museum and exhibition banners.
The upcoming "Disaster Prevention Quiz Rally" is designed to allow participants to learn about disaster prevention while having fun by walking around the town around the Minamisanriku 311 Memorial.
The site can be used to learn about the Great East Japan Earthquake, with questions such as the height of the tsunami that struck Minamisanriku at the time of the disaster, the town's current designated evacuation shelters, and the many pieces of support that have been received from all over Japan and overseas. The site also contains content that can be used to learn about preparing for future natural disasters.
Those who answer all questions correctly will receive limited edition original goods!
We look forward to your participation!
