Based on a business tie-up with Sendai Shirayuri Women's University, five students from the Department of Global Studies in the Faculty of Humanities have helped translate the banner in the Minamisanriku 311 Memorial building into English.

The banner translated into English is on display at the special exhibition "In this isolated town" held at the exhibition gallery from May 17th.
